The invention discloses an automobile IHU starting control system and method, wherein the system comprises a key signal detection receiving module and a vehicle key; the key signal detection receiving module is used for periodically broadcasting and searching a key signal in a communication range around a vehicle, building a connection with the vehicle key, then carrying out processing and judgment of the key signal, and judging whether to output a wake-up signal to the IHU for waking up the IHU or not according to key signal processing. The system and method have the advantages that the starting control strategy of the IHU is adjusted, and the initialization of the IHU is started immediately after it is detected that a user carries the key to the automobile and the key passes verification, so that the time of waiting for the initialization of the IHU system by the user can be shortened, the control mode is reasonable, a hardware structure is not increased, implementation can be realized by depending on hardw
