Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a device and method for rotatably casting metal ingots in order to solve the problems of existing large ingot casting technologies, and belongs to the technical field of metal casting. The device comprises a vacuum protective atmosphere system, a rotary displacement system located in the vacuum protective atmosphere system and a casting system located above the vacuum protective atmosphere system. The method comprises the following steps of 1) emptying air in a vacuum atmosphere tank body; (2) hoisting a tundish; 3) starting a rotary displacement system; 4) taking out the ingots. According to the device, fine-grain homogeneous compact circular or polygonal metal ingots are obtained in a common die casting mode. The method is simple in process, uniform in ingot internal quality, high in ingot comprehensive yield and low in production cost.
