The invention relates to a textile machine (1) having a component (4) for processing fibres or threads. According to the invention, the textile machine (1) is equipped with an electro-mechanical transducer (20) and an energy store (22) connected to the electro-mechanical transducer (20). The electromechanical transducer (20) converts the kinetic energy of vibrations occurring during production work on a component, in particular a winding device (4), into electrical energy, and the energy store (22) stores the electrical energy.
