METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELECTING PUBLIC LAND MOBILE NETWORK (PLMN) IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

One aspect of the present invention relates to a method for selecting a public land mobile network (PLMN) by means of user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, capable of using RLOS with both improved excellence and security by: attempting registration with a PLMN selected by a user in a manual network selection mode; searching at least one PLMN for providing access to RLOS when the registration with the PLMN selected by the user has failed; selecting a certain PLMN from the at least one PLMN searched from among the PLMNs included in an RLOS PLMN list set in a USIM of the UE; and initiating registration for access to RLOS of a certain PLMN. 本发明的一个方面涉及一种在无线通信系统中通过用户设备(UE)选择公共陆地移动网络(PLMN)的方法，其能够通过以下步骤以改进的优异性和安全性使用RLOS：在手动网络选择模式下尝试向用户所选择的PLMN注册；当向用户所选择的PLMN的注册失败时，搜索用于对RLOS提供接入的至少一个PLMN；从UE的USIM中设定的RLOS PLMN列表中所包括的PLMN当中搜索到的至少一个PLMN中选择特定PLMN；以及发起注册以用于接入特定PLMN的RLOS。
