Zusammenfassung: | In a continuously variable transmission (1) for a vehicle, a variator (2) has a primary pulley (3), a secondary pulley (4), and a belt (V) wound around the primary pulley (3) and the secondary pulley (4). The secondary pulley (4) is provided with a spring (Sp) that generates urging force in a direction in which a groove width of a V groove (43) of the secondary pulley (4) is narrowed. When the vehicle speed is equal to or greater than a prescribed speed during towing, the effect of centrifugal hydraulic pressure of oil (OL) stored in pressure-receiving chambers (R1, R2) of the primary pulley (3) causes the transmission ratio of the variator (2) to be higher than the lowest transmission ratio.
