Zusammenfassung:An additive manufacturing (AM) system (10) includes a housing (18) defining a chamber (20), a build platform (22) disposed within the chamber (20), and an upper gas inlet (76) configured to supply an upper gas flow (72) in a first direction (11) parallel to the build platform (22). The AM system (10) includes a lower gas inlet (84) disposed in the chamber (20) and configured to supply a lower gas flow (92) in a second direction (15) toward a bottom wall (24) of the chamber (20), and a flow directing system (96) configured to receive the lower gas flow (92) and redirect the lower gas flow (92) in the first direction (11) parallel to the build platform (22).
