Zusammenfassung:Provided are a motor device and a method for manufacturing the same that make it possible to accurately and consistently provide a support shaft to a case and enhance the strength with which the support shaft is fixed to the case. A small-diameter part 52 having a smaller diameter than a large diameter part 51 is formed through drawing. The large-diameter part 51 and a step part 53 are embedded ina gear case 41. The small-diameter part 52 is exposed to the outside of the gear case 41. As a result, the dimensional accuracy (dimensional tolerance +/-Alpha) of the external diameter D2 of the small-diameter part 52 is enhanced; the small-diameter part 52 can be set, without rattling, in a lower mold for molding the gear case 41; and, consequently, the support shaft 50 can be accurately and consistently provided to the gear case 41.
