Zusammenfassung:The disclosure relates to a method for determining an incorrect operating state of an electrical machine (10) with the aid of an electronic circuit (100) having at least one comparator (1). The electrical machine (10) is controlled with a pulse width modulation signal (PWM). The pulse width modulation signal (PWM) is demodulated. A first signal (S1), which represents the demodulated pulse width modulation signal (V10), is compared with a second signal (S2). The second signal (S2) represents a rotational speed or a rotational angle of the electrical machine (10) and/or a current intensity of the electrical machine (10). This comparison is carried out with the aid of the at least one comparator (1).
