The invention relates to moving bodies and a moving body system. The moving bodies according to the present invention move in the water and/or on the water surface in conformity to a person moving onthe water by stepping forward with each foot alternately, said moving bodies each including: a movement information acquisition unit for acquiring information about the movement of a foot of the person or the movement of a wearable object attached to the foot of the person; and a control unit for moving, when the foot of the person is away from the moving body, the moving body to a position wherethe foot is to be placed, on the basis of the information acquired by the movement information acquisition unit.
