Zusammenfassung:The present invention addresses the problem of providing a heat-adhesive composite fiber which is capable of maintaining curling stability even in a state in which high elongation remains; a method for producing the heat-adhesive composite fiber; and a nonwoven fabric which uses the heat-adhesive composite fiber. The nonwoven fabric is imparted with excellent bulkiness and shaping processability that follows a complex shape or a process having a high fiber deformation stress. The heat-adhesive composite fiber comprises a first component containing a polyester resin and a second component containing a polyolefin resin having a melting point lower than the melting point of the polyester resin by 15 DEG C or more, wherein the second component has an eccentric sheath-core structure in which the second component occupies the outer periphery of the fiber in a fiber cross-section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the fiber, and the heat adhesive composite fiber has an elongation atbreak of 200% or more, ha
