The technique includes, after performing a multiphase flow simulation to obtain a prediction of a flow behavior of oil in the presence of a water drive of a porous rock, retrieving a representation of a physicalporous rock sample (porous rock) including pore space and particle space data corresponding to the porous rock; locating substantially immobile oil masses or patches in the representation of the retrieved porous reservoir rock; and for N substantially immobile oil masses or patches (masses), evaluating a change in mobility of the masses for two or more iterations at an effort level of a given EORtechnique, a first iteration of the two or more iterations expending a first effort level, a second iteration of the two or more iterations expending a higher second effort level, and estimating an amount of change in mobilit |
