Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a lighting device, a driving method thereof and a distance measuring module. The lighting device includes a light emitting portion; a projection lens configured to project light emitted from the light emitting portion; and a switching section configured to switch the projected light between a first configuration for surface irradiation and a second configuration for pointirradiation. According to the lighting device, point irradiation and surface irradiation can be achieved, and meanwhile size reduction and price reduction are facilitated. 本发明涉及一种照明装置、其驱动方法以及测距模块。所述照明装置包括：发光部；投影透镜，其构造为投射从所述发光部发出的光；以及切换部，其构造为在用于面照射的第一配置与用于点照射的第二配置之间切换所投射的光。根据本发明的照明装置能够在实现点照射和面照射的同时有助于减小尺寸和降低价格。
