Microwave self-repairable polypropylene-metal matrix composite material and preparation method thereof

The invention relates to a microwave polypropylene-metal matrix composite and a preparation method thereof. The polypropylene metal matrix composite material capable of being self-repaired by microwave is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of polypropylene resin; 0.3-1.2 parts of an antioxidant; 0.3-1.2 parts of a lubricant; and 2-5.5 parts of a self-repairingpolypropylene master batch; wherein the self-repairable polypropylene master batch is obtained by melt extrusion and granulation of a metal-based material, maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene and polypropylene powder through a double-screw extruder; wherein the melt index of the polypropylene resin is 15-55g/10 min.
