The method comprises the following steps that S1, the following parts includingthe magnetic bearing, the rotor, a thrust disc, a sensor measuring body, a displacement sensor, the auxiliary bearing, a protection sleeve, a spring lamination, a bearing pedestal, a left side adjusting block and a right side adjusting block are prepared, and a left side coil and a right side coil are arranged in the magnetic bearing; S2, the gap between the magnetic bearing and the rotor is adjusted, and the gaps C and D between the thrust disc and the left side coil of the magnetic bearing is equal to the gap between the thrust disc and the right side coil of the magnetic bearing; and S3, the gap between the auxiliary bearing and the rotor is adjusted, the axial gap value E of the right side face of the auxiliary bearing is equal to the axial gap value F of the left side face of the auxiliary bearing, and the E
