The invention provides a coil assembly and a stepping motor using the coil assembly, wherein the coil assembly can loosen a coil wire without increasing the assembly cost. The coil assembly is provided with a bobbin (232) having flange sections (233, 234) at both ends; a plurality of terminal pin embedding sections (235a) provided to one of the flange sections (234); a terminal pin (236) embeddedin the terminal pin embedding part (235a); and a coil (231), the end of the coil wire (237) being wound around the terminal pin (236) and wound around the bobbin (232).
