The method can solve the problem that the survival rate of coastal sandy coast-based dry forest belts is low; and through cooperation of planting ditches, a water retention agent and slow-release fertilizer, container seedling planting greatly improveswater and fertilizer utilization efficiency, the cost is saved, the afforestation survival rate and the preservation rate are effectively increased, and an extremely important role is played in localecological environment protection. The afforestation survival rate is 95% or above one month after planting, the forest survival rate is 90% or above after 6 months, and the average growth height of the seedlings reaches 88 cm
