Rubber composition for tires

The present invention provides a rubber composition having excellent workability, tensile strength at break, and fuel efficiency. The rubber composition for a tire according to the present invention comprises a diene rubber, silica, and a nonionic surfactant represented by formula (1) (in formula (1), b is 5-45, and a+c equals 55-95), wherein the contained amount of the silica is 50-200 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber, and the contained amount of the nonionic surfactant is 0.1-15 mass% with respect to the contained amount of the silica. 本发明提供加工性、拉伸断裂强度和低燃耗性能优异的橡胶组合物。发明是含有二烯系橡胶、二氧化硅和下式(1)所示的非离子性表面活性剂的轮胎用橡胶组合物(式(1)中，b是5～45，a+c是55～95。)，二氧化硅的含量相对于二烯系橡胶100质量份为50～200质量份，非离子性表面活性剂的含量相对于二氧化硅的含量为0.1～15质量％。
