Zusammenfassung:	An elevator-guide-rail-machining apparatus, wherein a machining device body is moved along a guide rail. The machining device body also has a machining tool and a machining-tool-driving device. The machining tool scrapes off at least part of a braking surface of the guide rail. The machining-tool-driving device causes the machining tool to rotate. An abnormality detection unit determines the presence of an abnormality in the state of machining by the machining tool on the basis of the load status of the machining-tool-driving device. 在电梯的导轨加工装置中，加工装置主体被沿着导轨移动。此外，加工装置主体具有加工工具和加工工具驱动装置。加工工具削去导轨的制动面的至少一部分。加工工具驱动装置使加工工具旋转。异常检测部根据加工工具驱动装置的负荷状况，判定基于加工工具的加工状态有无异常。
