The invention discloses a special fixture for a tensile experiment of a hard and brittle material. The fixture comprises a cylindrical first fixture and a cylindrical second fixture which are coaxially and oppositely arranged, mounting external threads are arranged at the ends, away from each other, of the first fixture and the second fixture, dovetail grooves for embedding and clamping the end parts of a tensile sample are symmetrically formed in the opposite ends of the first fixture and the second fixture, and the cylindrical surfaces of the first fixture and the second fixture are also provided with limiting devices which can ensure that the central plane of the tensile sample and the central planes of the first fixture and the second fixture are always positioned on the same plane andprevent the tensile sample from being separated from the dovetail grooves during stretching.
