Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a genetically engineered bacterium for producing muconic acid by taking a phenolic compound as a raw material. The genetically engineered bacterium is a genetically engineeredbacterium obtained by knocking both a muconate cycloisomerase gene and a catechol 2, 3-dioxygenase gene in rhodococcus. According to the genetically engineered bacterium, a muconic acid degradation pathway in microorganisms is blocked, so that the genetically engineered bacterium uses the phenolic compound to produce the muconic acid with relatively high additional value, and various phenolic compounds, such as catechol, phenol and guaiacol, can be used; and on the basis of realizing green and efficient degradation of the phenolic compounds, the furoic acid with the high additional value is biosynthesized by utilizing wastewater.
