The inverted hook shaped machining method comprises the following steps that 1, an inverted-hook-shaped curvedsurface of a to-be-machined part is input to obtain an intersection line queue of the inverted-hook-shaped curved surface; 2, a solid three-dimensional model of a slot milling cutter is input to obtain a reverse cutter model; 3, one intersection line is taken out from the intersection line queue, and the reverse cutter model is used to sweep the cutter tip of the slot milling cutter along the intersection line for a circle to obtain swept solid shapes; 4, the swept solid shapes are combined to obtain a combined solid shape; and 5, a contour line obtained by intersecting a series of horizontalplanes with the combined solid shape is used as a tool path for machining the inverted hook shape by the slot milling cutter.
