The invention discloses an attendance checking method and system based on WiFi signal intensity data. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring WiFi signal intensity data of an attendancechecked person, counting the reporting times of the signals of which the WiFi signal intensity data of the attendance checked person is above an intensity threshold f, and if the counting times reaches a preset threshold n, enabling the signals to enter a trusted signal set, and adding all WiFi signal identifiers searched by the attendance checked person with successful attendance checking into the trusted signal set.
