Reliable boot system for computer device

The invention discloses a reliable boot system for a computer device. A plurality of boot devices to boot the computer device is determined via a basic input output system of the computer device. Bootoptions data from the plurality of boot devices is compiled via the basic input output system. The boot options data is sent to a remote controller. The remote controller provides a prioritized bootoption to the basic input output system.
