The embodiment of the invention provides a data display method and device. The method comprises the steps: receiving a display instruction; obtaining multiple groups of to-be-displayed data and display modes corresponding to the display instruction; if the display mode is an automatic mode, obtaining the number of screens and the number of groups of to-be-displayed data; according to the number ofthe screens and the group number of the to-be-displayed data, performing partition processing on each screen to obtain a first screen area; determining a display area corresponding to each group of to-be-displayed data from the first screen area according to a preset display rule; based on the determined display area, displaying each group of to-be-displayed data; if the display mode is an exclusive mode, performing partition processing on each screen according to a preset layout rule to obtain a second screen area; and according to a preset polling rule, sequentially displaying each group ofto-be-displayed data in t
