The cadmium complex belongs to a triclinic system, the space group is P-1, and central metal ions are Cd (II) ions. The minimum structural unit of the complex is composed of a Cd (II) ion, an isophthalate anion and two 4-phenyl pyridine neutral molecules. Solid fluorescence test researches show that the complex has excellent fluorescence properties relative to ligands.
