The invention discloses a multi-mode microwave pulse compressor. The compressor comprises a cylindrical resonant cavity, a plurality of working modes are generated in the bandwidth of a microwave source based on the radius and the length of the cylindrical resonant cavity, and the resonant frequency of each working mode is used as a working frequency point; or the compressor comprises multiple spherical resonant cavities connected in series, and each spherical resonant cavity works at a corresponding working frequency point.
