The invention relates to a brake dust particle filter (10) for a disk brake arrangement of a vehicle, in particular of a motor vehicle, in particular of a road or rail vehicle, wherein the disk brakearrangement has a brake disk (4) and a brake caliper (5), and the brake dust particle filter (10) is configured for collecting particles that form during braking and has at least one housing structure(1) by means of which the brake disk (4) and/or the brake caliper (5) can be engaged around at least in certain portions. The brake dust particle filter (10) has at least one light source (2), in particular an LED light source.
