Zusammenfassung:	An air conditioning unit for a vehicle is provided with an air conditioning case (12), a blower (14) which is contained in the air conditioning case, and a cooling heat exchanger (16) which is contained in the air conditioning case on the air flow upstream side of the blower. The blower has a suction opening (145) for sucking in air and is disposed so that the suction opening faces the cooling heat exchanger in an axial direction. The cooling heat exchanger has a facing portion (163) which faces the suction opening in the axial direction, and a non-facing portion (164) which does not face thesuction opening in the axial direction. The facing portion is disposed so as to be surrounded by the non-facing portion. The air conditioning case has formed therein a plurality of air introduction openings (121, 122) located at positions other than the position of a projection area (PA) on which the facing portion is projected in the axial direction toward the air flow upstream side.
