Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an aqueous ink, an ink cartridge, and an inkjet recording method. Provided is an aqueous ink for inkjet, which is capable of recording an image having a good hue and a high optical density. The inkjet aqueous ink comprises a pigment and a fluorescent whitening agent. The fluorescent whitening agent is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a bisstyrylbiphenyl compound having an anionic group, a diaminostilbene compound, and a coumarin compound.
