Copper anode slime and concentrated sulfuric acid are pulped, then introduced into a rotary kiln, and roasted; and selenium is efficiently absorbed and reduced from selenium-containing roasting flue gas by controlling the negative pressure of the rotary kiln and the temperature of stepped four-section roasting and controlling the temperature, acidity, reduction potential and the like ofabsorption liquid. The method has the advantages of simple operation, high production controllability, and effective control of the production process conditions.
