The method comprises the steps of obtaining a terminal identifier of a mobile terminal when it is detected that the mobile terminal is connected with first hardware equipment; and sending an access message matched with the mobile terminal to a server, so that the server sends a pagestarting command to the mobile terminal according to the access message, the access message carrying a terminal identifier, and the page starting command being used for indicating the mobile terminalto start a page containing a virtual character corresponding to the first hardware device.
