An embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for controlling a load transfer across bypass buses. The control method comprises the steps of: acquiring the load size of a target loadneeding load transfer and a target power supply line to which the target load needs to be transferred, wherein a bus hung on an original power supply line of the target load and a bus hung on the target power supply line are provided with bypass buses; determining whether the target load is overloaded after being transferred from the original power supply line to the target power supply line according to the load of the target load; and when determining that the target load is transferred to the target power supply line without overload, controlling a line switch and a knife switch between theline and the bypass bus to control the target load transfer.
