Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a braking system and a braking method for an unmanned electric vehicle. The braking system comprises a vehicle frame, a brake pedal which is fixed on the frame and is used forsending out a brake signal; a brake control device which is electrically connected with the brake pedal and used for receiving a brake signal output by an external controller or receiving a brake signal sent by the brake pedal; and a push rod motor which is electrically connected with the brake control device, the output end of the push rod motor is used for being connected with a hydraulic system, the brake control device controls the push rod motor to move, and the push rod motor moves to drive the hydraulic system to work, so that braking of the electric vehicle is achieved.
