Zusammenfassung: | The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a display device capable of easily and reliably repairing a pixel circuit by converting the pixel circuit to a dark spot, and a display device. A repair wire REP, which supplies an off potential for turning a driving transistor T4 to an off state, is superimposed onto an impurity region DSI of a semiconductor layer SI interposed between a first compensation transistor T21 and a second compensation transistor T22 that have dual-gate structures. The impurity region DSI and the repair wire REP are connected by irradiating the impurity region DSI with laser light. Next, the potential of a node N is set to the same potential as an OFF potential by turning the second compensation transistor T22 to an ON state, and thus the driving transistor T4 is turned to a normally-off state. This makes it possible to convert the pixel circuit 11 to a dark spot and repair the same.
