The improved ground-imitating flight control method comprises the following steps of: A, acquiring DSM data of a target region; B, generating contour line data of the target region based on the obtained DSM data; C, simplifying a contour line; D, performing offset correction on the contour line; E, extracting waypoints from the corrected contour line to obtain a point file layer; and F, importing the point file layer into flight control software, and automatically generating a ground-imitating flight route.
