The invention discloses a preparation method of a protective coating material for marine surrounding buildings. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing chitosan and sodiumalginate solution; (2) preparing a chitosan microemulsion and a sodium alginate microemulsion; (3) mixing the sodium alginate microemulsion with the chitosan microemulsion to prepare chitosan-sodium alginate nano microspheres; (4) preparing cross-linked chitosan-sodium alginate particles; (5) preparing imprinted polymer microspheres rich in silver ions; (6) preparing a hydrophobic modified acryliccopolymer emulsion; (7) preparing a nano functionalized hydrophobic acrylic polymer emulsion; and (8) mixing the nano functionalized hydrophobic acrylic polymer emulsion, cement and fine sand to prepare the protective coating material for the buildings around the ocean.
