The invention provides a sewing machine for sewing decoration. The sewing machine comprises a presser foot mechanism, a thread puller, a decoration thread cutting device, a spring clamping plate and acontrol part, wherein the presser foot mechanism presses a sewn object on a needle plate from the upper part; the thread puller enables a decoration thread and a sewing thread passing through a sewing needle to be mutually wound; the decoration thread cutting device is arranged in the presser foot mechanism and is provided with a movable cutter with a hook part and a fixed cutter in sliding contact with the movable cutter; the movable cutter moves back and forth between a position where the hook part is used for hooking the decoration thread and a position where the movable cutter is in sliding contact with the fixed cutter; the decoration thread hooked by the movable cutter is cut by the sliding contact of the movable cutter and the fixed cutter; the spring clamping plate is arranged onthe presser foot mechanism
