A vehicle running speed is collected through a wheel speed sensor; a computer control module acquires steering wheel angle information from an ESP system through a CAN bus; the transverse shortest braking distance of the vehicle is calculated according to the current speed of the vehicle; a braking area and a vehicle deceleration steering safety area are set; and whether an obstacle is located in the vehicle deceleration steering safety area or the braking area or not is judged, if the obstacle is notlocated in any area, the vehicle does not take action, when the obstacle is located in the vehicle deceleration steering safety area, the vehicle decelerates and controls steering for avoidance, and when the obstacle enters the braking area, the vehicle takes braking avoidance.
