The invention discloses a wave recording device for power distribution network faults. The wave recording device comprises a wave recorder, a maintenance end cover is mounted on one side of the outerpart of the wave recorder in a sleeving manner, and fixing rods are installed on the two side edges of the inner wall of the wave recorder. Connecting rods are installed on the two side edges of the inner wall of the maintenance end cover correspondingly. Positioning end blocks are mounted on one side parts of the top ends of the fixing rods and the connecting rods, a groove is formed in the surface of the top end of one positioning end block, positioning clamping grooves are formed in the surfaces of the outer walls of two positioning end blocks, and a fixing bayonet lock is mounted between the two positioning clamping grooves in a clamping fit manner. The positioning end blocks at the top ends of the fixing rods and the connecting rods are engaged with one another, and through further clamping connection of the
