Zusammenfassung:The invention provides an inspection robot. The inspection robot comprises a base plate, a hollowed pedestal and a supporting shell, wherein four sets of symmetrically-arranged travelling mechanisms are installed at the bottom of the base plate, and the four sets of the travelling mechanisms are used for driving the inspection robot to walk; the hollowed pedestal is fixedly installed on the upperportion of the base plate, and a control mechanism is arranged inside the hollowed pedestal and used for controlling the four sets of the travelling mechanisms to operate; and the supporting shell isfixedly installed on the upper portion of the hollowed pedestal, and a road inspection mechanism is installed on the upper portion of the supporting shell and used for allowing the inspection robot tolook at the road conditions. The inspection robot designed in the invention is flexible to walk and good in practicability and can still walk freely under the condition that the light is dark, the difficulties for maintenance
