The method comprises the following steps: carrying out enhancement processing on railway fastener image data shot by an unmanned aerial vehicle to obtain a training set, a verification set and a test set; constructing a network model by using a CYOLO algorithm, training the CYOLO network model by using the image data in the training set, and performing comparison detection on the trained CYOLO network model by using the image data in the verification setto obtain a trained CYOLO network model; and taking the trained CYOLO network model as a detection model of the railway fastener defect image, and inputting the image data in the test set into the detection model of the railway fastener defect image to realize railway fastener defect target detection of the image data.
