The method comprises steps of describing the boundary characteristics of the complex cavity by using a contour central axis, and calculating an elliptical cutter path by using central axis point information; and under the constraint of a cutting width threshold value, taking the central axis point closest to the maximum root node as a starting point, traversing all the central axis points in the reachable area of the cutter along the direction from the root node to the root node or from the root node to the leaf node, and reserving the central axis point information meeting the cutting width threshold value limit and the corresponding cutter path. Smooth connection betweenthe tool paths is achieved through the Hermite curve.
