The preparation method of the compound comprises thefollowing steps: taking 1-bromo-4-methoxy-2-methyl benzene as a raw material, and carrying out halogen-lithium exchange, substitution, esterification, cross-linking, cyclization and substitution to prepare 6-chloro-5-hydroxyisoindole-1-one.
