Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a drive axle and a service brake assembly of the drive axle. The drive axle comprises a first shaft sleeve positioned in a second shell, an annular piston, a plurality of annular first outer friction plates and a plurality of annular first inner friction plates, and the first shaft sleeve is in transmission fit with an axle shaft through an inner spline; the plurality of annular first inner friction plates and first outer friction plates are alternately stacked, and the piston is installed on the second shell and can move between a braking position and a non-braking position; elastic check rings are further arranged, axial spline grooves and circumferential annular grooves are formed in the outer surface of the first shaft sleeve, a plurality of first mounting grooves are formed in the inner side wall of the second shell, and the first outer friction plates are clamped in the first mounting grooves; and the first inner friction plates are clamped in the spline grooves and then are in t
