Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides an application of a rice OsCslF6 gene to identification of rice planthopper resistance of rice, improvement of the rice planthopper resistance of the rice and construction of the rice for resisting rice planthoppers. The invention proves that the OsCslF6 gene is a key gene for synthesizing the beta- D-glucan of the rice, and the OsCslF6 gene with high expression level can obviously improve the resistance of the rice to the rice planthoppers. Based on research on the relationship between OsCslF6 gene expression and rice planthopper resistance, the invention further provides a method for improving the rice planthopper resistance of the rice, namely overexpression of the OsCslF6 gene of the rice. The rice OsCslF6 gene provides a basis for a key molecular genetic mechanism of rice planthopper resistance of the rice, and has important guiding significance in cultivating resistant rice varieties and improving rice quality.
