The preparation method specifically comprises the steps of (1), adding water into raw materials containing raw meat powder according to the proportion of 1 g to (1-10)ml, and performing uniform stirring to obtain meat pulp; (2) coating multiple adjacent meat pulp strips in the same direction with the meat pulp obtained in the step (1) to form a meat pulp layer so as to obtain a meat pulp cake, wherein the meat pulp cake contains one or more meat pulp layers in the up and down direction, and when the meat pulp cake contains multiple meat pulp layers in the up and down direction, the meat pulp strips of two adjacent meat pulp layers are in different directions; and (3) baking the meat pulp layer obtained in the step (2) toobtain the jerky.
