Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a drive unit for a window wiper system (1), in particular of a motor vehicle, comprising: an electronically commutated drive motor (5), which has a rotor and a plurality of phase conductors for providing a stator magnetic field; a reversing transmission (6), which is designed to control one or more wiper arms (71) of a wiper unit (7) in a pivoting motion with alternating direction; a power unit (4), which is designed to provide phase voltages to the drive motor in dependence on control signals and which has a device for measuring phase currents through the phase conductors; a control unit (3), which is designed: to determine a rotor position of the rotor of the drive motor (5) in dependence on the phase currents, without using any sensors; to generate the control signals in dependence on the rotor position in order to provide a drive torque; and to control rotational speed in dependence on a specified operating function. 本发明涉及一种用于尤其机动车的玻璃刮拭器系统(1)的驱动单元,包括:-带有转子和多个用于提供定子磁场的相绕组的电子整流式驱动马达
