Method and system for automatically generating text abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for automatically generating a text abstract. The method comprises the steps: obtaining text data; extracting at least one key sentence from the text datain an extraction mode; and processing the at least one key sentence in a generative mode to obtain the text abstract. According to the method, sentence vector extraction can be carried out on the longtext by using a quick thinking model or a BERT model, key sentences are extracted through the TextRank algorithm, and the text data can be shortened, and useless information in the text data is discarded, so that the text abstract generating difficulty of an encoding-decoding model and an attention model is reduced, and the text abstract generating performance and effect are improved.
