The chemical expression of the cobalt complex is shownin the specification. {[Co3(H3TTHA)2(4,4'-bipy) 5 (H2O) 8]. 12H2O}n, wherein H3TTHA represents that the ligand H6TTHA loses an anionic group formed by three protons in the process of forming the complex, 4,4'-bipy is 4,4'-bipyridine, and the preparation method comprises the step of carrying out hydrothermal reaction on an aqueous solution containing H6TTHA, 4,4'-bipyridine and cobalt salt. The cobalt complex can be obtained through a one-step hydrothermal method, the steps are simple, the cost is low, expanded production is facilitated, and the cobalt complex shows weak ferromagnetic resistance and can be used as an antiferromagnetic material.
