Zusammenfassung:Provided is a platooning operation system which makes it possible to manage the number of vehicles it is possible to link in a platoon, and to manage the assignment of drivers of vehicles joining a platoon in response to vehicles leaving the platoon. This platooning operation system forms a platoon by linking a plurality of vehicles along a pre-set route. This platooning operation system is equipped with an application reception processing unit and an application management processing unit. The application reception processing unit receives applications for vehicles to join a platoon which include: a designation of a platoon among a plurality of platoons for which the departure time from or the arrival time to various points dispersed along the route is set in advance; and a designation ofthe departure point and the arrival point along the route. The application management processing unit manages the applications, which includes determining whether it is possible to accept an application, in a manner such tha
